…The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

(Matthew 9:37-38)

Dear SouthPoint Family,

I am returning to Uganda in 2018 with the intent of becoming full time within the next few years. Due to Ugandan Visa guidelines, I will divide my visit into two tours each of three-month duration; one starting in late January/early February, and the other in June.

I will be based in Mbale in partnership with Pearl Haven Christian Center but will travel to outlying villages as well as have opportunities to visit the countries of Kenya, Rwanda, and possibly Nigeria. I will have oversight of several village churches providing pastoral care, evangelistic outreaches, teaching, training, praying, and help with humanitarian endeavors. In addition, I will participate in crusades, outreaches, and local ministries hosted by Pearl Haven.

I would like to ask you to please prayerfully consider how you might be able to financially support this mission. The target goal for my first 2018 trip is $6000 which covers flight, insurance, food, lodging, incidental, and ministry expenses. In addition to fundraisers and special offerings, you may also give via PayPal for:

One-time donation
Monthly support

As I look to longer term ministry, it is important to begin building a support base. If you can be a part of this support base, it will be wonderful to team up with you. All donations are tax deductible. Use the GIVE button in this article, mark a check “UGANDA” and give at SouthPointChurch on Sunday, or mail that check to SouthPoint at: 5391 E. Tulare Ave, Fresno CA 93727.

I continue to covet your prayers; prayers for Uganda, safety, wisdom, and resources.

God bless you for your past, present, and future help in advancing God’s kingdom,

Pastor Roberta
